The RoyalFloraHolland Tradefair 2024 was fantastic! It’s the perfect place to connect with customers from home and abroad, traders, florists, and everyone active in our beautiful floral industry. At Deliflor, we proudly showcased our latest chrysanthemum innovations, both at our own stand and at the in-house shows of our trade partners. Together, we’re bringing exciting new varieties to the world of chrysanthemums!

The week was filled with highlights:

- 🥉 3rd place in the Glazen Tulp Award in the Cut Flowers category for our unique disbudded chrysanthemum, Etrusko Orange, grown by Arcadia Chrysanten.

- 🤝 David Marin, Director of Deliflor Americas, was nominated for the Young International Grower of the Year Award 2025 by AIPH—a well-deserved recognition for his inspiring leadership and commitment to collaboration.

- 🤝 Nomination for our client Kreling Chrysanten for the Dutch Flower Award 2024, themed ‘long term partnership,’ which perfectly aligns with the values Kreling upholds in their cooperative.

- 🎁 Commander Pink campaign winners: FlowerPortal and Bachetle Spol were the lucky winners of our latest round, rewarded with delightful Rituals Giftsets for their loyalty to this beautiful new variety!

It was a week full of connections, innovations, and wonderful moments. A big thank you to everyone who made this Tradefair a success and who visited us in our stand! On to a colourful future full of growth and partnership!

From November 5th to 7th, Deliflor will be present at the Royal Flora Holland Trade Fair in Aalsmeer! We are excited to showcase some new varieties at our stand, such as Summer Love, Precious, and Etrusko Orange. Additionally, our (new) stars Commander, Mirana, Magnum, and Baltica will be shining bright. We invite you to come by and catch up with Deliflor over a nice cup of coffee or a snack and drink. During the weekend of October 25-27, another meeting was held for the designers associated with Floral Fundamentals. On Friday, October 25, they visited some of the growers involved in this initiative, including Deliflor. The attending designers received insight into the development of new chrysanthemum varieties, the breeding process, and the rooting of cuttings before they are delivered to growers. Many observed this process with amazement; it’s an intensive journey leading up to the point where these arrangers typically work with the chrysanthemums.

On Saturday and Sunday, the designers worked with our chrysanthemums, among other flowers from various other suppliers involved. The location, as always, was the beautiful demo space at Van der Lugt Lisianthus. Keep an eye on our socials and those of Floral Fundamentals to admire the unique arrangements created on these days. Especially for this Christmas edition, we provided black and golden Balticas. These were eagerly received by the designers, who enjoy choosing unique colors and shapes for their stunning designs.

What an extraordinary colour! The colour of the new Lubov Cherry is difficult to describe. Although this novelty belongs to the red segment, its hue is more of a mix of dark pink or even orange shades. With its characteristic subtle gradient on the petals, it truly stands out, adapting like a chameleon to the color palette of the arrangement it’s used in. Grower VHC, a specialist in Santini’s, is adding this remarkable new Santini to its assortment.
